A new chapter in the history of the Ora et Labora: sailing around Lanzarote on a renovated classic boat
At Lanzarote Traditional Sailing we have always believed that every boat has its own soul. The Ora et Labora, our classic 19th century sailing yacht, is a living piece of maritime history, and has just undergone a thorough refit to prepare for a new season of sailing around Lanzarote.
A renewal with respect for tradition
During the last few months, every detail has been carefully worked on: the deck wood has been restored, the varnish has been replaced with natural oil to restore its original shine and the boat has been repainted in white, inspired by the tones of the island.
Major systems such as the wheelhouse and engine room have also been overhauled, and emblematic elements such as the bowsprit and sails have been repaired, ensuring that the ship retains its historic character without sacrificing safety and comfort.
Ready to sail the waters again
The result is a boat that breathes authenticity, tradition and elegance. Very soon, the Ora et Labora will once again offer boat trips around Lanzarote, an experience that combines history, sea and sustainability.
On board, each crossing becomes an invitation to disconnect, feel the wind and rediscover the essence of sailing Lanzarote as it was done before: in silence, with respect and admiration for the ocean.
A unique experience in Lanzarote
More than a charter, the Ora et Labora is a sensory experience. It is listening to the sails tighten, smelling the wood in the sun and letting yourself be carried away by the calm of the sea. Perfect for families, couples or groups looking for something different: an authentic and sustainable way to enjoy the sea on a boat with more than a century of history.
